Teaching basics of Indian Classical Music  for last 18 years and all aspects of North Indian Classical Raga Music up to performance level.

From 2001, Artistic Director of Barrackpore Sangeet Sabha (www.bssmusic.org )managing and teaching in this Institution. It has approximately 200 students each year, several of them are now performing at professional level.

Lessons plans are based on vocal coaching for pitch, tonal, sargam and taal  the knowledge of Raga for each taal(Rhythm) , then Raga seasons and time of day. Students’ voice training then proceeds towards their choice, either to progress to light music or pure Raga form.

From 2006, started Online Teaching for International Students and now has student disciples from USA, Australia, UK and Europe.
